You are cordially invited to join us at home, in the heart of the beautiful British countryside as we gather to celebrate the height of summer with a lavish garden soir\u00e9e. Take time to explore the bright blooming garden on a golden summer evening; wander along the rolling green lawns, flecked with picturesque follies, and pause to enjoy the scent and splendour of the Rose garden. Applaud the jesters as they perform, and marvel at the resident peacocks elegant display of dazzling feathers. Finally, take a seat at the banquet table as we feast through the night on fine cakes and dessert…almost too pretty to eat.<\/p>\n
The collection is traditionally screen printed onto Lasenby cotton, a base specifically developed for quilting and craft projects.<\/p>\n
Liberty Fabric \/ Crafting Fabrics<\/p>\n
Named after the founder of Liberty, Arthur Lasenby Liberty, Lasenby Cotton was designed specifically with crafting in mind. Made from 100% cotton, Lasenby is printed and finished in our Italian Mill near the banks of Lake Como. Slightly heavier than its cotton companion, Tana Lawn\u2122, Lasenby weighs 146 grams per square metre making it very stable and perfect for quilting.<\/p>\n
Printed using traditional screen printing that infuses rich colour tones into the fabric, our studio designers\u2019 photographic and painterly creations are brought to life in the most vivid way possible. Soft and smooth, this textile is just thing you\u2019ll want to snuggle up to on a cold winter\u2019s day or drape across your bed-scape during summer.<\/p>\n
About Liberty Fabrics – The Liberty Fabrics department is a true design institution. If you want to examine the fabric before placing a larger order we have a sample piece (5″ square) for \u00a31.50 which covers our fees and postage.<\/p>\n
All fabrics are cut from our stock in our studio in Dorset UK and are available from Fat Quarters and upwards.<\/p>\n
Fabric Cuts are as follows<\/p>\n
0.05 = Sample 5″ square (12.7cm x 12.7cm square)
\n0.25m = Fat Quarter of the material which measures approximately 55cm by 50 cm
\n0.5m = 1\/2m full width of material (50cm x 114cm)
\n1.0m = 1m full width of material (100cm x 114cm)<\/p>\n
Overseas Shipping will be dealt with at the checkout, however if you wish to buy multiple items and are outside of the UK then please do contact us and we will set up a custom order for you with combined postage. Nobody wants to pay more for their postage than is necessary and we are more than happy to accommodate these requests.<\/p>\n
