Fray check comes in a 22.5ml pipette style dosing bottle.
The colourless liquid prevents stressed areas, such as buttonholes, seams, shirt collars and cuffs, from fraying by reinforcing the fibres. This sealing solution gives rolled seams a stable finish and can even be used to provide a fray free seal to the edges of fabric motifs. It will not discolor or stain most fabrics but always test on an inconspicuous seam to be sure.
Instructions: Place a piece of cardboard between the area being treated and other fabric layers. Unscrew the cap and puncture the tip with a fine pin. Gently squeeze the bottle and apply a very small amount of fray check.
If, after multiple washes the effect of the fray check subsides, this treatment can be repeated as often as required.
