This is a beautiful organic soft cotton flannel that would be great for quilting, clothing and light upholstery. This fabric is of premium quilt shop quality.
What is flannel? Flannel is a soft brushed cotton/light winceyette fabric or can be described as being a very lightweight cotton fleece (although fleece is generally a non woven fabric). Flannel has traditionally been used for nightclothes, undergarments, and bedding (quilts) – we must however point out that these 100% organic fabrics have not been treated with any fire retardant or fire preventative treatments.
Cloud9 Fabrics use only 100% organic cotton in the manufacturing of their base cloths and eco-responsible low impact dyes for printing and dying. They work closely with mills that are committed to ethical and responsible conduct.
All fabrics are cut from our stock in our studio in Dorset UK.
PRICING & CUTS:
HALF METRES & MULTIPLES THEREOF – We sell our fabric by the Half Metre, which equates to a piece of fabric measuring 50cm high by 110cm – 114cm wide (manufacturers selvidge to selvidge). If you require more than half a metre then please increase the quantity accordingly, for instance a quantity of 2 will give you 1 metre of fabric, 3 will give you a metre and a half and so on. Multiple quantities will be cut as one continuous length.
