Legacy Flex-Foam is a lightweight, sew-in stabiliser consisting of a layer of foam sandwiched between two layers of soft fabric.
It is excellent for use in crafts accessories and home decor projects for an elegant, finished look. It can be used in place of (or in addition to) other stabilisers. Flex-Foam is a breeze to sew through and adds shape and body to projects such as computer cases, eyeglass cases, purses, tote bags, cup holders, diaper bags and more! It is compatible with a wide variety of fabrics. Let your imagination run wild!

Sewing Machine Safe
Machine wash warm on gentle cycle, tumble dry low or dry clean.
General Directions:
1. Cut Flex-Foam following pattern piece. Flex-Foam has no grain and can be cut in any direction.
2. Place Flex-Foam against wrong side of fabric and sew around all edges with a basting stitch to hold in place. (Alternate: Quilt Flex-Foam as desired)
3. Follow pattern directions to complete project.
Tips:
— If needed, Flex-Foam can be steam pressed on a medium setting to remove any wrinkles before use.
— Use a ball point needle for ease of sewing.
Great for – bags (I have used it as a substitution for ByAnnies soft and stable when making ByAnnies projects (photos above)), table runners, placemats, protective cases for mobile phones, glasses, shoulder pads, caps, hats, etc.
The foam provides structure for your project – surprisingly easy to quilt and sew multiple layers together and will provide structure when not quilted also.
PRICING & CUTS:
HALF METRES & MULTIPLES THEREOF – We sell our fabric by the Half Metre, which equates to a piece of fabric measuring 50cm high by 152cm (60″) wide. If you require more than half a metre then please increase the quantity accordingly, for instance a quantity of 2 will give you 1 metre of fabric, 3 will give you a metre and a half and so on. Multiple quantities will be cut as one continuous length.
