It’s Sew Emma Cross Stitch Finishing Tape makes mounting your needlework projects a breeze! This double-sided, acid-free tape adheres to art boards, foam core and more without leaving residue on your fabrics and without needing pins, staples, glue or clips. To finish onto mount board/foam board, cut a piece of mountboard to the required size, cut and adhere a piece of wadding to one side of this (can use cross stitch finishing tape to do this), position your finished cross stitch piece onto the board with about an inch or an inch and a half of your fabric overhanging all around, turn over to rear/unfinished side, adhere a finishing dot to each corner of the board, remove backing, adhere the corners down. Use finishing tape across all long sides, remove backing and then adhere each side of your fabric down. Then go back to the corners and pull these tighter and adhere down with a little extra tape to finish off. The tape/dots will hold everything in place, but also allows for some movement of the fabric.
