IMPORTANT NOTE about what is included in the ByAnnie Packet/Pattern:
Concise instructions with check boxes for General Quilting, Binding, Vinyl, Mesh and Fold Over Elastic.
A list of what you will need to complete the project.
Cut out labels for you to easily identify your fabric pieces.
If applicable a code for an add on video to assist you with the more complex aspects of your bag making.
NOT INCLUDED – Pattern Pieces! you will not find any pattern pieces within the pack. Instead of pattern pieces you will be expected to cut the squares and rectangles of fabric yourself and these are then shaped as required as you follow the pattern.
The easiest and most accurate way to cut out the fabric pieces is to use a rotary cutter, cutting mat and quilting ruler. You will also need a line on your cutting mat which shows a 45 degree angle for cutting some of the bag bindings.
A note about the supplies needed –
Soft & Stable – Most ByAnnie patterns have a requirement for a foam product called Soft and Stable. Soft & Stable can be expensive to buy in the UK, so we would recommend a substitution which is readily available, of high quality and of which we stock called Vlieseline StyleVil Foam or Legacy Flex Foam- when you compare the products side by side there is very little difference and using the Vlieseline Stylevil Foam or Legacy Flex Foam will make a comparible item.
Fusible Interfacing – Another product which is regularly required in ByAnnie bag making is fusible woven cotton interfacing (SUP179), again this product is quite expensive here in the UK so we would recommend substituting this for our woven cotton interlining which is much cheaper product but gives an excellent finish.
Bag Hardware Polypro and Zippers – We recommend that you use the ByAnnie bag hardware, Zippers, Polypro . The ByAnnie hardware is of an excellent quality and is perfect for any ByAnnie sewing projects. The Zips have extra wide sides which can also be used to face raw edges on your project and match the colour of the mesh and elastic for a great finish. All ByAnnie hardware is available in our shop.
No fabrics are included with this item, this listing is for the printed pattern only.
POSTAGE IS FREE TO UK ADDRESSES. If you are outside of the UK then the appropriate shipping/postal charge will be applied at checkout.
