Designed with multiple pockets and a secure zipper closure, it keeps your essentials organized and easily accessible. The adjustable, detachable strap lets you wear it over the shoulder or as a crossbody bag, offering versatility and comfort.
Keep your passport, money, or name badge secure in the combination zippered/slip pocket on the flap. Lift the flap to reveal a discreet pocket for your ID and credit cards, perfect for quick access when traveling or shopping.
The deep back pocket provides space for your phone, boarding pass, or glasses, ensuring everything you need is within reach.

On the Go 2.0 is an update of On the Go which was released in 2012. Just like a new edition of a textbook, this new version of the pattern features improved design and layout, easier-to-follow steps and diagrams, and our newest and best techniques. Specific changes include:
Tweaked the size, making the bag deeper More room for all your essentials!
Changed the strap size and how it is attached Now you can carry it more securely and comfortably!
Substituted sew-in magnets for the hook & loop closure Looks and works so much better!
Eliminated some pockets and changed a number of construction techniques This new version is easier to make and yields a more professional finish!
We have also filmed an Add-On Video for the project to help you make the cases. Since the On the Go 2.0 pattern includes a coupon to get the Add-On Video at no charge, we would recommend that you purchase the new and improved version of the pattern.
The pattern calls for ByAnnies Soft and Stable which is a lightweight foam which gives body to the bag. This material is available in the UK, but can be quite expensive. A good alternative to this is Vlieseline Sew In Foam which is available within this shop.

NOT INCLUDED – Pattern Pieces! you will not find any pattern pieces within the pack. Instead of pattern pieces you will be expected to cut the squares and rectangles of fabric yourself and these are then shaped as required as you follow the pattern.
The easiest and most accurate way to cut out the fabric pieces is to use a rotary cutter, cutting mat and quilting ruler. You will also need a line on your cutting mat which shows a 45 degree angle for cutting some of the bag bindings.
