DESCRIPTION
**This pattern was originally sold under the title Daytripper 2.0: Crossbody Case. ByAnnie.com changed the name to Daytripper II: Crossbody Case in Jan. 2021 to promote more consistency in their pattern catalog. There was no substantial change to the pattern itself.**
Simple and secure, this handy padded case is perfect for carrying your iPad, tablet or other electronic gear. An easy-to-install zipper at the top affords easy access while still providing protection for your valuable items.
A padded zippered pocket on the front of the case holds cords and chargers; inside is a slip pocket for a cell phone or other items.
Carry the case over the shoulder or cross-body with the adjustable strap. The finished case measures 11”W x 11½”H x 2”D.
This pattern is essentially the same as the original Daytripper Crossbody Case (no longer available) EXCEPT that this pattern gives more detailed instructions about how to align the fabric pieces if using a large-scale focus fabric. This bag is also designed to use a main fabric, lining fabric, and contrasting fabric, so fabric requirements are different.

NOT INCLUDED – Pattern Pieces! you will not find any pattern pieces within the pack. Instead of pattern pieces you will be expected to cut the squares and rectangles of fabric yourself and these are then shaped as required as you follow the pattern.
The easiest and most accurate way to cut out the fabric pieces is to use a rotary cutter, cutting mat and quilting ruler. You will also need a line on your cutting mat which shows a 45 degree angle for cutting some of the bag bindings.
The pattern calls for ByAnnies Soft and Stable which is a lightweight foam which gives body to the bag. This material is available in the UK, but can be quite expensive. A good alternative to this is Vlieseline Sew In Foam which is available within this shop.
